Working with your food storage

One of the ways in which to make your food storage successful is through proper rotation of the food itself.  There are a few negative things that can happen with food storage, one of which is buying food storage you cannot use or is not easy to integrate into your typical eating.  Do not spend money on bulk anything unless you not only know how to use it, but enjoy using it.

Example: If you want to buy 100 pounds of bulk wheat because it lasts a long time but are not a baker, you may want to reconsider either the purchase or the fact that you won’t use it.  If you do want to purchase wheat and it’s raw, consider purchasing a grinder as well.  You will be able to make beautiful wheat flour!
